Abbott Lloyd Howorth is an established firm of solicitors based in Maidenhead, Berkshire; our team comprises the following solicitors and support staff.

Malcolm Tanner B.Soc.Sc., Solicitor.

Malcolm deals with all Will Probate and Trust matters.

He is actively involved in a number of local charities both as Clerk and helper.

He qualified in 1972 and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) a highly regarded specialist qualification in this field.

He is married with three children.

Priya Patel LLB (Hons) Solicitor.

Priya deals with residential conveyancing, both sale and purchase and mortgage matters.

She qualified in 2004.

Priya has returned to us part-time after her maternity leave.

She is married with one child.

Helen MacDiarmid M.I.L.E.X Trainee Legal Executive

Helen assists Malcolm in the Private Client Department with Will drafting and the Administration of Estates.

Helen has passed her last exam and is a MILEX – Member of Institute of Legal Executives. She is still a trainee until she completes two years work training to be a qualified as Fellow of Institute of Legal Executives.

She is married with no children.

Lilian Dermanovic Legal Clerk.

Lilian deals with Leasehold Enfranchisement and has specialised in this area for two years.  She has worked in the legal field for 10 years.

She owns a much loved parrot.

She enjoys swimming, scuba diving and horse riding.

Jeevan Khaira LLB (Hons) Solicitor

She specialises in Commercial Property especially buying and selling, leasing and variation of leases.  She has also trained in criminal law and is a police station accredited representative.

She enjoys travelling and fast cars!

She can speak Punjabi, Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu.

Tanya Melville Solicitor

Tanya  qualified in March 2000 and specialises in Family Law.  She is experienced in injunctions, all matters concerning children, finance applications and divorce/civil partnership.  She is Swiss by birth and is married with two children.  She speaks Swiss-German, German, French and Italian.

Elaine Beresford Trainee Solicitor

Having worked for many years in a legal environment Elaine decided to qualify as a solicitor.   She will initially help Lynette in the family and civil litigation Departments. She is married.  Her interests are theatre, opera and reading.

Rima Sachdev Solicitor

Rima deals with Residential Conveyancing. She is married with two children. She qualified in 1994 and during her career break took the Institute of Licensed Conveyances course – that is how much she enjoys property law.

David Abbott Legal Cashier.

David does the accounts and moves the money about.

He is a member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers.

He is interested in home renovation (which is just as well!)

He is married to Lynette.

Alistair Bover Trainee Legal Executive

Alistair is a local lad and works in the Private Client department. He will be covering for Helen MacDiarmid during her maternity leave and may ten move to a different department to complete his training.

Carl Nicholls

Carl assists Dave in the accounts department.  He left school having completed his ‘A’ Levels and is taking his training forward.  He is a keen footballer, playing semi professionally for Burnham Football Club.   In his ‘spare’ time he likes socialising and using his computer. Carl speaks a little French.
