As Employer you must provide terms of employment to your employees. There are also many rights that employees enjoy which you must be aware of. This is a daily active, responsibility. You may be liable if you do not stop for instance, racism or discrimination in the work place, even if you do not take part in it or encourage it in any way.
You may need advice on disciplining or dismissing an employee. You may need advice about consulting the workforce on the sale of a business. We can help will all these things.
As an Employee you may be facing disciplinary action by your employer or you may have been dismissed, you believe unfairly. We can advise you about Tribunals but their time limits are strict and you must make your complaint within three months of being dismissed. This can only be extended in exceptional circumstances.
If your employer has offered a severance package to you we can advise you on its suitability and may be able to help you negotiate an increased package. Employers will often even pay or contribute to your legal costs!
